About us....
Woodland Initiative is an Ofsted-registered Supported Accommodation service for 16-18 year olds which operates across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, offering high-quality medium- to long-term solo placements. Each placement homes one young person, allowing us to deliver tailored support, focused interventions, and a stable environment built around individual needs using our bespoke Independence model.
Our dedicated team are highly experienced and trained in supporting young people towards independence, supporting young people with complex needs and in implementing personalised support plans that promote safety, emotional stability, and positive routines.

I have enjoyed my experience of living at Woodland, I have enjoyed learning to cook in my own kitchen and liked having my own room, this has helped me get ready and be excited about living in my own place.

Our young person is having better outcomes, less reported missing episodes and this we feel is due to them having a supportive staff team at home who he has an established relationship with.

I have noticed a significant change in my child, they have built positive relationships with the staff which they usually struggle to do. I don't think we have ever seen them as settled as they are with you.
